DK started deejaying & developed most of his skills on the hiphop/ soul scene back in the early 90's under his hip hop alias DJ Double X , he released a line of mix tapes (Double Mix Vol. 1-13) which were a instant hit in the record shops!

DK was part of the successful hip hop outfit Moorish Delta 7 but went solo as his love for house music took over & he graced the decks at some of  the Midlands & other prestigeous UK venues his diary included regular bookings from - The Que Club,Marco Polo's,The Hush,SLAG,Moneypenny's,The Steering Wheel,Soba Bar,The Circo Bar,52 Degree's North,Venus(Manchester),Elemental(Manchester & Bolton),Hanger 17(Liecester),Fuel,Peach(Plymouth),Release The Groove, Moets(Kidderminster),Careys(Coventry),The Planet(Coventry),Ace Of Clubs(Stoke On Trent),The Light Bar,Canal Club, Filter(Derby),Custard Factory,Hidden plus others...

DK's talent also gained him a stretch in Los Americas - Tenerife & he also produced & presented radio show - The Mixx for local radio Walsall FM & Bridge FM...
