DK was born & raised in the UK listening to reggae & gospel in the late 70’s,this progressed to the popular electro/ hip-hop sound in the early 80's, this lead to funk, soul & warehouse, then finally house, which has dominated ever since.

DK started deejaying & developed most of his skills on the hip-hop/ soul scene back in the early 90's under his hip hop alias DJ Double X , he released a line of mix tapes (Double Mix Vol. 1-13) which were a instant hit in the record shops! Entertaining crowds worldwide and playing with some of the most respected deejay’s over the past 20 years has inspired and schooled DK in doing the job right!

After deejaying & holding down residencies in the past for venues like The Que Club,Marco Polo's,The Hush, S.L.A.G, Moneypenny's, Soba Bar, Circo Bar, 52Degree's North, Venus & Elemental (Manchester), M.O.S(London), Fuel, Release The Groove, Careys & The Planet (Coventry), Ace Of Clubs/Golden (Stoke On Trent), The Light Bar, Filter(Derby), Ibiza, Tenerife, Aiya Napa plus others...

DK took a step back from the flooded dj market to further his ambition to put out tracks on his own label.
